Step into the world of Shalev as he releases his debut EP on Pinkturban, Vicissitude of Aba. This Israeli DJ draws inspiration from his roots in Israel and Brooklyn, New York, fusing the sounds of the Mediterranean with the energy of the city.

The lead track, "Vicissitude of Aba," is a tribute to Shalev's late father. A pulsating groove, crispy piano, Eastern instrumentation, and intricate percussion drive the track as the energy builds throughout the nine-minute journey, climaxing with a mesmerizing string ensemble.

"Ahava" takes listeners on a trip to eastern lands with its catchy synth riffs and ethereal vocals. Conveying the essence of love, heavy drums meet with soul-stirring low end for a drop that is sure to pay off on the dance floor.
